- Slip is a method + texture: use DIN 51097 (A/B/C) for barefoot zones; wet Pendulum PTV for shod walkways; results must name the exact emboss. Background: HSE slips.
- Finish & film: choose matte/open-grain textures; glossy caps show sunscreen/oil films and feel slick sooner.
- Drainage & edges: give water a path (1–2% falls) and use bullnose/picture-frame at the waterline and steps.
